Responsible for checking parts and submitting parts to inspectors for Approval.
Job Description:- Build and update process sheets for PM Compacting PressesMeet with Scheduling, engineering and quality departments dailyUpdate Master Reference Setup Sheets through procedureWork with Engineering during new product development stagesMake program adjustments and notifies Supervisor of the need to update Master Reference Setup SheetsProcess improvement projects as assignedSubmit pieces for PPAP or Set-up approvalDoes record keeping vital for process setupPerforms tool life studies as neededAssembles vital inspection equipmentHelps operators, area leaders and maintenance trouble shoot operation of equipmentKeeps tools and supplies organized according to shop-floor criteriaReviews all tool breakage reportsOperates compacting press as customer demand dictates and as assigned by the supervisorRelease product to the next operation by following detailed instructionsStop production for nonconforming or suspect productIdentify and record problemsRecommend solutions to problems through channels Required Skills And Education- 5 years related work experience in a manufacturing setting (Class A or higher)High School diploma or GEDID:qnkTyxEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
